Concrete grinding involves grinding the surface of uneven concrete to make neighboring pieces flush. Grimm Concrete Services offers minor concrete grinding, such as for sidewalk trip hazards. For bigger issues, or in cases where concrete grinding isn’t ideal, we offer tear-out and replacement.

Concrete grinding is often an easy and cost-effective way to make concrete even and get rid of trip hazards. However, it isn’t always the best option. In some cases, grinding concrete can make it easier for concrete to absorb water, damaging the concrete during freeze-thaw cycles. Additionally, grinding concrete doesn’t address the underlying issue that may have caused the concrete to become uneven.
